This will be an exceptional CONFIDENCE BUILDING Clinic!!!This clinic is special because the first day will be formatted like the De-Spooking/Trail clinic (See Facebook for Photos) where we start with groundwork, building leadership and trust and then move on to creatively designed de-sensitization tools and objects. We end the day on a beautiful trail ride. We will take the time to work with any horses having trouble overcomimg fears encountered on the trail whether water crossing, spooky objects, etc. but these trail clinics have been highly successful. Once we go through creating true leadership and de-spooking horses are generally super confident out on the trail ride. Its the perfect end to an already great day!
On the second day we will be teaching your horse total body control and softness under saddle. From doing the one day Trail Riding Clinics all summer most have discovered the glaring need for softness and body control in their horses. This not only makes it more enjoyable to work in the arena and provides refinement in the show ring but also provides more enjoyment and safety out on the trail. We will also do a trail ride at the end of Day Two to discover the difference in the control we had on Day One. This will be a very special clinic you won't want to miss. Lets face it, even if we show we all want to trail ride but most don't feel safe and confident with their horses. I feel trail riding is where most accidents occur and this clinic creates a safe environment for both de-sensitizing your horse and trail riding. It is the ultimate confidence builder for both you and your horse!
TRAIL RIDING AT THE END OF BOTH DAYS IS OPTIONAL- The cost for this clinic is $150.00 per day for those who have not participated in a Tanner Horsemanship
clinic for the past 3 years.
- Anyone may participate in Day One only.
- Those who have participated in a clinic in the past 3 years may participate for half price.
- Those who have participated in a De-Spooking clinic in the past 3 years may choose to skip Day One and
participate in Day Two only for half price as well.
FREE AUDITING!!!! All auditors (observers) attend FREE! Must bring a chair. Concessions provided. There are a couple of places to eat in the area as well and please feel free to bring your own lunch and refreshments.
Participants must have current negative coggins.
